Types of plagiarism to be considered by “CJIHSS“
The following four types of intellectual property infringement will be considered:
1. Complete plagiarism: refers to the retrieval of previously published content without any alteration to the text, rules, ideas, phrases or data at all, despite proper citation. This type of piracy is considered to be the most serious intellectual property infringement.
2. Partial plagiarism: refers to the incorporation of content, ideas, or research results from various sources, and the researcher strives to explain them extensively, despite accurate citations.
3. Incorrect citations and references: Refers to the extraction of ideas, results, or processes from any source from various sources without proper paraphrase and citation.
៤. Self-plagiarism: refers to the re-use of any part or point entirely from one’s previously published research or work. CJIHSS considers “plagiarism” to be a case in which the author or researcher submits his or her research article for the purpose of republishing their previously published work.
CJIHSS will take strict action against any research article that is found to be infringing on intellectual property, even if it has already been published in the Humanities and Social Sciences Journal.
