In order to ensure the sustainability of the publication of CJIHSS research articles, as well as to contribute to the capacity building of researchers in the humanities and social sciences, the BEC has developed a research and data enhancement program focusing on key skills. As follows:

- Statistical data analysis skills using Ms. Excel, SPSS and R
- Pedagogical and research essay writing skills
- Research project proposal writing skills

With the strengthening of these skills, the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences has organized the IHSS Research Internship Program, giving students and young researchers the opportunity to engage with the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences in conducting research. Writing research articles as well as receiving research skills training as described above.
